60

I was checking out cutique.com today and came across this. If only I had the money to spend I'd buy this adorable matryoshka necklace.

Despite the fact that I love my friend dearly she committed pet peeve number 507,000. Apparently, if you don't mark your lunch at work it's free grazing for the horde of hungry individuals sharing air space with you. I brought my lunch for the week with me yesterday. 8 pieces of leftover pizza. I ate 2 for lunch @ 3:15pm. Later at about 7:30pm I'm feeling famished so I go to get another bit of pizza to hold me over until I get home and can eat something there. To my horror I am now down to 3 pieces! Seriously? It's not like it was in a pizza box. It was in a plastic container. Friend's excuse: it wasn't marked.
OMG! you've got to be kidding. If you didn't bring it, don't eat it. How many brain cells does that take? Supposedly, whomever told her that it was free for all was thinking it was the pizza ordered on May 1st. Well, I hate to break it to you, but with this bunch there are never left overs after the 2nd day. NEVER! if there are even left overs.

I am ticked off about having to plan my lunches this week and still peeved at the fact that people think whatever is in the fridge is theirs for the trying.

*sigh*

like I said it's a pet peeve.

I can't believe how frustrated and upset it makes me. Silly pet peeve I know, but I can not seem to help it. It's like someone stole from me. Nothing of worth, but something I needed.

hrm.

Otherwise it's a gorgeous day outside. I splurged and bought this loverly little glass from Starbucks.

it's pretty much the only thing that has made me smile today. I am still miffed. Starbucks has a special on iced coffee going right now. I am uber thrilled about that ~ obviously it doesn't take much. I'm pretty easy to please & piss off apparently.

Oooo my friend invited me to a "sexy school girl" party this Friday. What does one wear to a party like that? ugh. this is why I never go out.

I'd wear this, but I don't own it.

stupid budget. Speaking of budgets I have more than 3/4 of my emergency fund in place. I'm super excited.

Tomorrow I start a class about finance. I'm pretty excited. It's called Dave Ramsey's Financial Freedom University. I paid $93.00 for the kit and I am a life-time member now. I'm hoping it will teach me how to make my money work for me. I'm also hoping that I don't have any more "emergencies" while I'm short on cash.

A second job is looking like a possible future endeavor for me.
To bad the economy is looking so bleak right now. To bad our government has spent more than it makes. To bad that the United States has made so many bad decisions when it comes to money. Oh, but you know let's pretend to care and "support" people.

I don't want to complain, but I do get very angry when people start yapping about how the government isn't giving them free money and how it's not supporting them. Well, goodness have you ever thought of helping yourself? I mean, really people, GROW UP! The government is a joke and you need to learn to take care of your poor pitiful self. Get a job, stop squawking, stop expecting handouts. Free Yourself!

Even when I had to live in subsidized housing and get help with rent I worked 3 jobs to support myself. I worked hard to pay what I could in rent, car payments, gas money, groceries, the basics. I didn't complain that the government wasn't doing more, I just accepted that I would have to do more if I wanted to have anything.

my apologies. I didn't really mean to go off on a rant. It just aggravates me to see people want something that they are not willing to work for.

spastic-ness

life is full of all sorts of challenges, as I'm sure you know for yourself. I often hope that I meet these challenges with dignity and honor. HA HAHAHHA

however this is rarely the case.

My recent peeve -- and I have many -- involves singing at my church.

peeve #82473923
being asked to sing and practice is an hour before service and I don't know the songs.

peeve #813478294
people watching me like a hawk so they can criticize my every move and action.

peeve #12908312
singing songs that I find redundant and stupid and then having to compliment people on choosing them.

peeve #23472343
listening to the practice cd *blech*

peeve #1824798274
smiling while singing. *evil grin*

We are.... where?

I have had a pretty good weekend. Well, that is aside from ticking off the world at large. I seem to have this knack for bringing out the worst in people. I'm snippy, sarcastic, caustic, and well overall I'm mean.

Don't you just hate getting forwards in your inbox? I mean come on, how many times are you going to read 'Poison in Dog food'? really? this one again? Or my recent favorite are all the political emails. I seem to get the same email from at least ten different people IN THE SAME DAY! this makes my blood boil. If you're not writing me a personal email DON'T SEND ME ANYTHING. Honestly. It's like a pet peeve of mine - pet peeve #8328734.

*sigh*

I did however, in the midst of angering the masses, manage to go to an orchard and pick apples, drink delicious cider and spend way too much money. It was awesome.

Here's to apple butter, apple sauce, apple pie, apple cider, apple jelly and raspberries. :) I love fall.
