*sigh*

it's a gorgeous day outside already and I'm stuck in here. I had an interview yesterday. I'm thinking it didn't go so well. I love it when they're like "do you have any questions for us?" "um... *shrug*.. no?" heh. like honestly what am I going to ask them? You think trained monkeys could do this job? oh wells.

I didn't get to blog yesterday because I was not near a computer. oh, and I was busy. *snicker*

Tomorrow is our annual staff day at work and I am looking forward to it. I'm also looking forward to *not* working. as we will be sitting and doing nothing AND getting paid for it. I LOVE STAFF DAY!

:) ^^ gapingvoid you make my day!

Anyway.

:) this made my day brighter.

nothing I love better than an adorable etsy creation.

>rapscallion [rap-SKAL-yun] noun
>hackneyed [HAK-need] adjective

which is what my blog has become - hackneyed. :) ugh. I'm so tired from trying to get my taxes done I can't think and to be honest they weren't hard to do. It's just that I can't remember things from year to year. *shrug* I'm a moron.

Tomorrow I start a class about finance. I'm pretty excited. It's called Dave Ramsey's Financial Freedom University. I paid $93.00 for the kit and I am a life-time member now. I'm hoping it will teach me how to make my money work for me. I'm also hoping that I don't have any more "emergencies" while I'm short on cash.

A second job is looking like a possible future endeavor for me.
To bad the economy is looking so bleak right now. To bad our government has spent more than it makes. To bad that the United States has made so many bad decisions when it comes to money. Oh, but you know let's pretend to care and "support" people.

I don't want to complain, but I do get very angry when people start yapping about how the government isn't giving them free money and how it's not supporting them. Well, goodness have you ever thought of helping yourself? I mean, really people, GROW UP! The government is a joke and you need to learn to take care of your poor pitiful self. Get a job, stop squawking, stop expecting handouts. Free Yourself!

Even when I had to live in subsidized housing and get help with rent I worked 3 jobs to support myself. I worked hard to pay what I could in rent, car payments, gas money, groceries, the basics. I didn't complain that the government wasn't doing more, I just accepted that I would have to do more if I wanted to have anything.

my apologies. I didn't really mean to go off on a rant. It just aggravates me to see people want something that they are not willing to work for.

*sigh*

I've had an jolly good weekend -- yes, I spent it doing a lot of nothingness, but then this is my prerogative.

Friday - I got to hold my friends wee bairn at the hospital... he's adorable. She's hoping he gets to go home soon.

Saturday - since my Pops (father) is still in town I went shopping with him at Costco after madly cleaning the kitchen and such. then I cooked a nice sweet and sour balti chicken dish. Over all a great Saturday.

Sunday - I went to church -- went out after church with friends as it was the last service that our mutual acquaintance would be here. I will miss him quite a lot. Then in the evening I went to a bonfire at my boss's house. It was quite nice.

Monday - a lot of nothingness and watching Hamish Macbeth. I adore Scottish accents and should think that I'd adjust very well to the country. I'd like that close knit feeling I think. n-e-whoo that evening because of a dryer catastrophe at home I had to frequent a laundry mat. ugh. I spent 2 hours of torture at a laundry mat -- torture because i had to watch Spanish soap operas. Nothing worse than a soap opera in my opinion and to be forced to watch it IN a language you don't really understand.. ugh. I thought my ears would start bleeding from all the crying that went on. but I got my clothes washed, dried, and folded. so all is well with the world.

lists for today -- well -- I don't have anything cool or new or interesting. So perhaps I'll just not make a list. HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH just kidding.

Not that I just discovered this or anything BUT I did just discover this

odd things I've been asked online
>my name appears to the side of my picture
"wot your name?"
>from creepy old man. creepy because he likes to hug, caress, etc. on friendzii vs. just smiling like a normal old geezer to a young hot chicka -- and by old I mean old enough to be my grandfather
"invite me to be your facebook friend??"

there are so many that I haven't the time to sort through them. SO be happy with two stupid questions from two stupid people OKAY FOLKS.
